Hi There!
I'm Kristin Parsons, the founder/farmer behind cultivated. I've spent the last ten years designing edible landscapes and 14 years growing my own half acre forest garden in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2025 I added almost ten additional acres to the farm, in a much different climate! Overall, I've been growing food, herbs, and flowers in Arizona for 22 years!
I am and have been involved with many local groups for local fruit trees, food, herbs, and flowers the entire time I have called Arizona home. You can learn more about that and where to find what I grow below.
I am honored to be a steward of the land along with my husband and my son.
I'll be adding farm updates to this site in between building the new farm and taking my son to sports! There is so much to share and I'm truly blessed to be doing what I love.

Ariona Flower Collective
Find me volunteering at the market to be around the best flower people! This is the main sales channel for my flowers- you can find and shop the collective at rooted farmers, and florists can shop the floor at our weekly wholesale market at Baseline Flowers between March and October!

Previous/Relevant Design Experience

NCIDQ
As a graduate of one of the top design colleges in the Nation, I have studied color, form, space, and the built and natural environments for nearly 30 years. I achieved my NCIDQ during my design career, and I still utilize Revit architecture software to design and layout my farm because old habits die hard! I just simply wasn't meant to sit at a desk, but I am proud to have achieved this certification

PDC
In 2015 I received my Permaculture Design certificate and applied permaculture principles to my farm. It spoke to what was already inside my soul regarding being a steward of the land and working with nature instead of trying to control nature
In subsequent years I stayed involved with the permaculture community, providing instruction, guidance, and support to others.

Floret Workshops
At the end of 2019 I enrolled in the Floret workshop class of 2020. As we all know, that year the world changed quite a bit! Attending her workshop brought a lovely learning experience and community during a tough time.
I also enrolled and in Erin's follow up workshop for floral arranging and my designer heart loves the beauty and the graphics and the care she clearly puts into every part of what she offers to the floral community.
