Freeze-dried edible Calendulas have a mild, slightly tangy, bitter taste that pairs well with both fresh and cooked foods. Use it in salads, teas, pastas, soups, baked goods, or as a substitute for saffron. Some of the petals puff up and they look so cool! Not all do, but some definitely do. If you are wanting the puffy ones only, reach out to us for a custom order so you can get the premium ones only. But if you get the regular ones, the loose petals are also super gorgeous to use as edible confetti.

Freeze-dried foods will re-absorb moisture from the open air, so it's best to consider this when storing any product you aren't finishing.
